Founded by artist and designer Del, Duyen Del Design grew from a love of colour, nature and self-expression, but also from a deeply personal understanding that life doesn't always follow the path we expect. Living with chronic illness and disability has changed the way I experience the world. There have been periods where simply getting through the day has been an achievement, and times when my body and mind have required me to slow down, adapt and approach life differently.

Rather than seeing that slower pace as something to be ashamed of, I've come to embrace it.

The snail at the heart of Duyen Del Design represents exactly that — moving forward, even when progress looks different from what you imagined. It reminds me that there is no universal timeline for creativity, success, healing or life. We all move at our own pace, and that's okay. My work is a celebration of individuality, resilience and finding moments of happiness wherever we can.

I want Duyen Del Design to be a space where people feel encouraged to stand out, embrace what makes them different and take life at their own pace.
